About Andrew Smiglowski

Andrew was born in New Hampshire, went to college at Mount St. Mary's University in Maryland, and now lives in Seattle, Washington.

While enrolled as an undergrad, Andrew majored in English and minored in both history and creative writing. He maintained a bi-weekly entertainment column for The Mountain Echo - Mount St. Mary's University's student newspaper - which has been in print since 1879. He also edited and contributed to Lighted Corners, MSMU's award-winning literary and arts journal.

Since his graduation in 2019, Andrew spent two and a half years as a college-level English and essay writing tutor for Tutor.com. During this time, he was voted the favorite tutor of more than 500 students and had a 5/5 star rating with over 1,000 reviews. 

His poetry and short stories have been published numerous times in multiple countries. His works can be found in many publications:
