Atomfall is no doubt a challenging game at times, especially if you play at the recommended difficulty or higher. Fortunately, like any good RPG, it offers a variety of options to make that challenge easier should you take advantage of them. Among them is traders, which will sell you a variety of consumables, crafting recipes, weapons, ammo, and items. While they can be expensive, some are well worth the trouble.

Each of the four regions in the game offers multiple traders, and each of those traders sells different goods. Even further, each trader has their likes and dislikes (i.e. some won't care much for bandages and will treat them as low value, while others for example will highly value Burn Salves and treat them as higher value). While a lack of fast travel means exploiting these isn't an efficient use of time, it's still something to keep in mind when dealing with a given trader.

  • Molly Jowett can be found at 26.4E 79.1N and sells two important items: Stealth Manual and an Atomic Battery. She doesn't like bandages, so avoid selling her these.
  • Reg Stansfield is found inside the Slate Mine Caves at 29.9E 73.8N. Most notably, he sells Makeshift Grenade Recipe, but apart from that, there's Burn Salves, Gunpowder, and a Hatchet. Note he won't pay much for Burn Salves.

A Bit Of Everything, But Nothing Important

  • Morris Wick is a sneaky fellow that can be found in the Village Shop (also known as the Hardware store), located at 33.3E 79.8N. He doesn't sell anything imperative, but has a well-rounded selection of goods that include weapons, bandages, first aid kits, and grenades.
  • Alf Buckshaw is located at the Grendel's Head pub (34.2E 79.3N). He sells tea, which is always handy to allow you to run faster, and alcohol, which is great for crafting recipes. Apart from that, you can expect only Tomatoes and Potatoes. These aren't hugely important, but if you're short on food, it's never a bad idea to pick some up.

  • Nora Thorndike is located at Nora's Barn (41.8E 77.5N). Mind the traps guarding the area, then open the door to the barn (face southeast to find it). Most notably, Nora sells Atomic Battery and Nail Bomb Recipe, but also Med Kits, Nail Bombs, SMG Ammo, and Sticky Bombs.

And that's all nine known traders and their inventories in Atomfall; between the lot of them, you should have all your bases covered and then some. Note trader stock may vary a little as you revisit different regions, but generally they should offer the same types of items.
