cast of Arcane, Viktor (Harry Lloyd) became a standout, originally acting as Jayce's (Kevin Alejandro) research partner in developing Hextech, hoping to use it to cure his life-threatening illness. However, in season 2, he gains powers through the Hexcore that turn him into a messiah-like figure for Zaun, resulting in a major conflict between his hive mind and Piltover. He also physically transforms various times throughout the final episodes.
Now, axel_cosplay has posted a video showing off a highly-detailed cosplay transformation into Viktor, pulling inspiration from when he initially leaves the Hexcore in Arcane season 2. Applying dark makeup to the neck and cheeks, the cosplayer draws everything from visible veins, lips, and eyebrows that look like the exact image of the League of Legends champion. The final parts of the video show the cosplayer looking exactly like Viktor, a perfect rendition of the character as he appeared in the Netflix show. Check out the full video below:
What This Detailed Viktor Cosplay Says About Arcane's Major Character
The Show Offered A New Take On The Champion
Axel_cosplay's detailed Viktor outfit emphasizes how memorable a character he was throughout the League of Legends series. While the champion's original lore was associated with machinery and transhumanism, the show's take made him more involved with Hextech, becoming a figure who broke the boundaries between science and magic. However, it also made him dangerous, his obsession with humanity's "glorious evolution" turning him into the show's final antagonist. Luckily, Arcane season 2 ended with him realizing the error of his ways, with he and Jayce sacrificing themselves to save the world.

If You Liked Arcane, Don’t Miss Out On Netflix’s Other Adult Animated Show That Is About To Return
Arcane might be over, but Netflix has another great animated video game adaptation to watch while waiting for spinoffs of the League of Legends show.
The cosplay in the video shows him prior to this, when he's first walking around the streets of Zaun and healing people through his Hextech powers. It encapsulates the changes the technological marvel made in him, while also highlighting the tragedy of his character because of everything he's been through. It's a reminder of how often characters can grow and change in Arcane, especially Viktor because of his connection to Hextech. It also shows how well-received this version of his character was in the grand scope of the franchise.
Our Take On This Highly-Detailed Viktor Cosplay
A Strong Show Of Love For A Tragic Arcane Figure
Despite becoming the final villain of the show, Viktor truly was a tragic figure, genuinely believing what he was doing would be for the benefit of humanity. The complexities of characters like him are bound to carry over into Arcane's follow-up projects as well, with champions from Noxus, Ionia, Demacia, and Bilgewater also getting deep dives. This cosplay reflects how memorable his characterization was, and how popular he'll remain thanks to his small screen portrayal.
As of writing, there is no confirmation as to whether Viktor will appear in any Arcane follow-up projects.
