With October creeping up once more, Halloween is returning to similar event called Apex Legends' Fight or Fright 2020 that took place during last year's Halloween. This allowed players to celebrate spooky season with a number of new legendary cosmetics, exclusive rewards, and a limited-time-only mode - set to return during this year's event.
The innovative Battle Royale title continues to receive in the form of new Legends, maps, and events by Respawn Entertainment. Season 10 brought many new changes to the game's Battle Royale map, World Edge, and introduced a substantial amount of content to the game. One of the biggest additions was the title's latest legend, Seer, which became the game's most picked and popular character due to his powerful abilities and unique aesthetic. While the season is coming to an end, data miners claim the Season 11 will introduce an all-new "Tropic Island" map to Apex Legends.
Revealed in an official trailer, Respawn Entertainment gave fans a closer look at new Apex Legends character skins, weapon skins, banners and holosprays will also be available, all of which can be attained through Monsters Within packs. These packs are set to remain part of the standard Apex pack loot-pool, even after the event ends. Furthermore, players will also have a chance to pick up cosmetics from the previous Halloween event, Fight or Fright 2020, from the in-game store.

Besides its unlock-able content, Apex Legends is introducing a new Arenas map called Encore, set on Apex Legend character Seer's homeworld of Boreas. This new elimination map will have a comparatively more open layout that will leave teams exposed, forcing them to move to higher grounds to survive. Lastly, last year's Shadow Royale mode will be making a return. This mode will drop players into a Battle Royale King's Canyon, as they fend off attacks from living and dead players - who turn into zombie-like shadows at night.
Respawn's Monsters Within event is packed with in-game features, but its biggest appeal seems to be allowing players to witness popular Legends - such as Seer - unleashing their darkest sides. With only a few weeks before Season 10 completely wraps up, players can partake in the game's final event to unlock unique cosmetics and rewards ahead of Apex Legends' next season.
