It’s important to note that the Northern and Southern Hemispheres will be seeing different items and events this December. Northern Hemisphere events will focus on snowy, festive events celebrating the winter holiday season. The Southern Hemisphere will be entering summer, and the creatures available there will reflect that.

The New Year’s Eve Countdown begins December 26 and ends at midnight on January 1, 2022. During this period, players will be able to buy New Year’s Noodles (Omisoka), Berliner (Silbester), Twelve-Grape Dish (Nochevieja), and Sparkling Cider.
Finally, players will be able to unlock plenty of new Animal Crossing crafting recipes throughout the month. This includes the Winter Snowflake Recipe set and Festive Christmas Ornament Recipes. Overall, December is full of festive new content for players all over the world to enjoy, on top of the content still unexplored from the 2.0 update.
