America's Got Talent fans are furious after singer Alex Sampson was eliminated during the semifinals.

After the semifinal results were posted on America's Got Talent's Instagram page, fans took to the comments section to sound off with fury over the fact that singer Alex Sampson was eliminated after performing an original song called "Wallflower." Multiple social media s claimed Alex was robbed, with @Sophia_m1227 noting that "something seems off" about the results. @Justrai7 exclaimed that Alex "should be in the finale" but predicted he'll have a great future with his career. Meanwhile, Alex himself took the outcome in stride by thanking everyone "for getting me this far" and congratulating the acts who advanced.

AGT Season 19 Finale Has Multiple Talented Contenders

The acts who made it to the America's Got Talent season 19 finale are Roni Sagi & Rhythm, Brent Street, Richard Goodall, Learnmore Jonasi, Sky Elements, Solange Kardinaly, Hakuna Matata Acrobats, AIRFOOTWORKS, Dee Dee Simon, and Sebastián and Sonia. That means Pranysqa Mishra, Kelsey Jane​​​​​​​, Alex Sampson​​​​​​​, Young-Min​​​​​​​, Ashes & Arrows​​​​​​​, and Reid Wilson were eliminated one week shy of the finals. All 10 finalists have a shot at winning the $1 million grand prize.

Since there are so many Golden Buzzer contestants in the finale due to the new rules this year, it'll be interesting to see if any of them can win or if they will be at a disadvantage due to less exposure on AGT by skipping the semifinals. As for the other acts, there's a chance the winner could make history. For example, Learnmore could become the first stand-up comic to win AGT.

When it comes to the eliminated semifinal contestants, though, the results didn't come as much of a surprise, aside from possibly Reid Wilson​​​​​​​ and Ashes & Arrows. As for Alex, the AGT fans who voted clearly disagreed with the judges, who absolutely loved his performance. Unfortunately, Alex's voice sounded off-key in the semifinals, and it's obvious that the voters heard that, even though there are a lot of fans upset by his elimination on social media. While Alex won't be in the finals, there are 10 acts who are deserving of the grand prize.
