Aliens Versus Avengers #1 by Jonathan Hickman, Esad Ribić, Ive Svorcina, and VC’s Cory Petit pits Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against the titular Xenomorphs for the fight of their lives, but one hero has it easier than any other. Breaching a Shi’ar stronghold, the Black Panther T’Challa, and his son, fellow Black Panther, Prince Azari, immediately encounter these perfect killing machines.

T'Challa quickly dispatches his heir against the creatures, as Azari uses a mastery of lightning to fry three Xenopmorphs with minimal effort. But with Storm as his mother, it’s no wonder that Azari’s power outstrips any Panther who came before.

Based on Azari’s own electrical abilities displayed in this issue, it’s safe to assume that this iteration of the character is once again the son of T’Challa and this timeline’s Storm of the X-Men. As such, the Panther Prince has access to not only the heightened physical and mystical senses owed to him as a leader of the Panther Cult, but to his own innate mutant gifts that clearly take after his mother, the Windrider. Individually, the Black Panther and Storm are two of the most dangerous heroes in the Marvel Universe, but their son is something else entirely.

If Azari’s been trained as rigorously as his father, he’s one of the most dangerous men alive. But with the inherited power of the Hadari-Yao coursing through his genes thanks to Storm, Azari is potentially an Omega-level threat in his own right. With this added boost, Azari is not only the most powerful Black Panther of all time, but potentially Earth’s Mightiest Hero.

T’Challa And Ororo Raised One Dangerous Son

Black Panther and Storm are two of Marvel’s greatest icons, so it’s no wonder that their son would share the same prestige. After all, anyone capable of undergoing the rites of age for the Black Panther mantle is an incredibly dangerous individual. Add to that an Omega-level parentage, and there’s not much that could stand in that hero’s way. Whether fans will get to witness just how powerful Azari truly is remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: the son of the Black Panther and Storm should never be underestimated – especially against Xenomorphs.
