The Prime Batman eventually catches up with Halliday, and the two have a final confrontation in a universe manifested by Red Mask: a dilapidated Gotham being eaten by Jokerized sharks. Bruce successfully uses the spray on the sharks, smirking that he's finally found the one Batman more prepared than him.
Adam West is the Most Prepared Batman in the DC Multiverse
Batman is known far and wide to be one of the most well-prepared heroes in the DC Universe. But few Dark Knights have shown foresight as incredible or over-the-top as the one featured in the 1966 Batman television show. Like every other Batman, Adam West's take on the character was a do-gooder that fought crime with an incredible cache of weapons. But the '66 Batman always had incredibly specific tools to counter anything that came his way like anti-bullet medicine or the infamous shark repellent spray.
When it comes to being prepared, the Prime Earth Batman is no slouch himself. He's made numerous contingencies to keep himself and his allies safe and almost always has a plan to defeat whatever evil presents itself to him. But no matter what Bruce prepares for, he can't compete the Earth-66's Batman. The man has a gadget or tool for literally anything that could come his way (including Jokerized sharks). Adam West's Batman might be regarded by some as the 'campy' one, but he's more than earned the respect of the Prime Earth Batman for his intense planning.
Batman '66's Tools Get Him the Respect He Deserves
The Batman of Earth-66 isn't the toughest of the Batman from across the multiverse, nor has he saved his Earth from certain doom like other versions of Bruce Wayne. But if there's one thing that Adam West's Batman does have on everyone else, it's that he's always got the perfect gadget for any situation. No matter what trouble finds himself in, the perfect solution is waiting for him in his utility belt. The Earth-Prime Bruce isn't joking when he crowns Earth-66's Caped Crusader as the most prepared Batman. With as many plans and backups that the Prime Earth Bruce has created, it goes a long way when he compliments Batman '66 for his contingencies. Fans can see Adam West's incarnation get his due in Batman #135, on sale now.
