The Matrix star, Keanu Reeves, recently made an unexpected appearance on a couple's special day. While wedding days tend to be stressful and organized to a T, sometimes a gatecrasher stumbles upon the happy celebration, and sometimes it happens to be an A-List Hollywood celebrity.
The surprise event calls for photos and videos, and create memories no one thought would happen. The British couple who were surprised by Reeves are not the first to experience such a welcomed wedding crasher. Over the years, celebrities have either found themselves nearby or secretly invited to a wedding or two.
Keanu Reeves
The famous John Wick star, Keanu Reeves, found himself attending Nikki and James Roadnight's special day. In England, Northamptonshire, the newly-wed Mr. and Mrs. Roadnight were at their reception, when Reeves appeared out of nowhere.
Turns out the movie star was visiting the hotel where the wedding was held, due to filming a Formula One documentary nearby. James, the groom, spotted him in the bar and invited him to stop by. Lo and behold, the actor followed through and made the bride and groom very happy to see him, leading to @MrsNRoadnight posting the exciting photos online.
Tom Hanks
Elvis, he spoke about his track record of appearing at weddings.
His appearances at weddings have dated back to 2009, but his most recent photobombing moment happened this March. The bride and groom were taking some photos when they spotted Hanks walking by. The actor stopped for a chat and offered to be in a photo with the bride, adding another to his long list of photobombing.
John Travolta
The iconic movie star, John Travolta found himself posing with a wedding party back in 2013. Travolta was in Georgia to renew his pilot license. While sitting in a nearby bar, a couple spotted him and jokingly invited him to their wedding the next day.
To everyone's surprise, Travolta showed up at the party. He ed the couple in some photos, spending time for a chat and huge bridal party photo. A friend of the groom then posted about the news on Reddit.
Lil Nas X
Lil Nas X is a The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. Back in 2020, Lil Nas X came across a wedding party held at Disney World.
The rapper escorted the bride into a crowd, and stole a dance to his hit song "Old Town Road." The crowd cheered along and danced around Lil Nas X, ing in on the bizarre sight. Later the rapper posted to Twitter with a video of his gatecrashing.

The pop star turned actress, Lady Gaga, found herself crashing a wedding back in 2016. The singer happened to be in Central Park as she was visiting the John Lennon’s Strawberry Fields memorial. There she found a Japanese wedding couple taking photos.
The pop star was captured in the moment by TMZ, who videoed the encounter between Gaga and the couple. She complimented the pair and offered to take a photo with them, before getting a ride away from all the commotion.
Dwayne Johnson and Danny Devito
Dwayne Johnson and Danny Devito decided to relax by the pool after finishing their promotions for their Jumanji: The Next Level movie. After hearing some celebrations, the pair decided to check out the noise, finding themselves in the middle of a wedding.
The happy couple was surprised yet delighted to see the wedding crashers, who entered the event singing a duet of "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole. The actors sang and partied, taking some photos with the couple, before parting ways. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson later posted about it on his Instagram.
Ed Sheeran
Back in 2015, the pop star Ed Sheeran ed the wedding party of newlyweds Matt and Kya. After the couple's nuptials, Sheeran appeared at the Australian wedding as a surprise held by KIIS FM.
The couple had called KIIS FM radio explaining that they didn't have much money for a wedding. The radio stepped in with some help...and some surprise. The singer performed a rendition of his hit song "Thinking Out Loud," for the couple's first dance. He stayed for some photos and chat, before leaving the happy couple.

Neesha Ghadiali and Joe Scheller were sharing their heart-felt vows at the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago back in 2014. During the ceremony, the photographer spotted famous rapper Snopp Dogg in the hotel.

Taylor Swift made a surprise visit at Max and Kenya's wedding back in 2016. The groom's sister wrote a touching letter to the singer, explaining how big of a fan he was and what her music meant to him (per People). Taylor Swift decided to take up the offer and appeared at the wedding.
Much to the couple's surprise, they were very happy to see the unexpected guest. Taylor performed a stripped-down version of "Blank Space" for the reception and the couple danced along. Swift then stayed for photos with the bride and groom and also gave them a present for the happy day (per Twitter).

Back in 2014, BeyonceÌ and her husband, Jay-Z, were vacationing in Italy, Portofino. According to Hello Magazine, they had decided to tour around a local church, stumbling upon a wedding that was taking place.
In her excitement, the bride paused the wedding, so she could get a photo with the music legend. She kindly obliged and took some photos with the blushing bride. While the interaction wasn't long, BeyonceÌ reportedly told the bride how beautiful she looked in her dress.
