Fans are eager for the return of Love in Paradise: The Caribbean, A 90 Day Story, and it seemed the network wanted to put distance between the new series and the main 90 Day Fiancé franchise.
However, Love in Paradise turned out to be a hit with viewers. The tropical backdrop of the show was enough to lure in fans, and the unique drama of the season 1 couples made them tune in each week. Love in Paradise had a different feel to it, and many viewers believed the show was a fun and fresh addition to the franchise.
In May, when the Love in Paradise season 2 trailer was released, fans were thrilled to learn they’d be getting a second helping of their favorite new spin-off. Though some fan favorites, like Martine Fortune and Steven Blackett won’t be returning, season 1 couples Amber Graney and Daniel Salazar and Aryanna Sierra and Sherlon Mcinnis will be a part of the season 2 cast, premiering June 10. In addition to the two returning couples, there are two more pairs and a trio who fans have yet to meet.
Aryanna Sierra & Sherlon Mcinnis
In season 1, Aryanna was pregnant with Sherlon’s child when she went to visit him in Jamaica. Now, in season 2, Aryanna will be traveling back to Jamaica with their son Odin. Aryanna, on Instagram as the 90 Day Fiancé couple were apart.
Amber Graney & Daniel Salazar
Though Amber, on Instagram as 90 Day Diaries documented the couple’s wedding. Though things were still tense between them, Amber and Daniel appeared to be happy to tie the knot. Their journey continues in season 2 with Daniel and Amber adjusting to their new life together in America.
Daniele Gates & Yohan Geronimo
In the season 2 trailer, Daniele Gates, on Instagram as new 90 Day Fiancé couple is adorable and potentially dramatic. Daniele is concerned about whether Yohan truly loves her or is looking for a way to get to the U.S. so he can send money home to his family.
Valentine & Carlos Jiménez
Carlos Jiménez, on Instagram as charlyjimenez0, and Valentine, on Instagram as vsentv, are the first same-sex couple on Love in Paradise, and they look like a compelling addition to the cast. Though there appears to be strong attraction between them, there are tensions as well. Carlos in particular is concerned about Valentine’s flamboyant behavior during a night out, but Valentine feels like he’s being pushed back in the closet.
Frankie, Abby, & Gaby
As part of the first throuple in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, Frankie, Abby, and Gaby are sure to bring the drama. In the season 2 trailer, American man Frankie, on Instagram as itsmefrankeith, fell in love with Abby, on Instagram under the name Eury Montoya as abita.mc, during a trip to Mexico, but Abby is already in a relationship with Gaby, on Instagram as ana.galaxia.
