1000-Lb Sisters season 6 is in full swing, and long-simmering tensions between Tammy Slaton and Amanda Halterman finally reached a boiling point during a Slaton family meeting. The beloved unscripted series, which premiered in 2020, chronicles the weight-loss journeys of several of the Slaton family. It mainly centers around 37-year-old Amy Slaton and 38-year-old Tammy Slaton, but several of their other siblings have gotten in on the weight-loss action, including 43-year-old Amanda.

Anyone who has watched the unscripted series over the years knows that the Slatons are a hot-headed bunch. They often butt heads, but this recent fight between Tammy and Amanda during 1000-lb Sisters season 6 was uglier than usual. Both sisters said things that they likely didn't mean, but can never take back. She checked herself into a weight-loss rehabilitation facility, and, while she was there, her home was broken into. When she got out of rehab, she moved into a home owned by her sister, Amanda. Their sibling relationship is in trouble because Tammy thinks Amanda is a bad landlord.

The House Needs Repairs

It's a tale as old as time. Tammy's main complaint is that the house needs repairs that Amanda is unwilling to pay for. During 1000-lb Sisters season 6, Tammy's brother, 45-year-old Chris Combs, puts a large piece of plastic over a broken window while Tammy complains about the disrepair of the place. Tammy claims the window was broken by one of Amanda's adult sons, who all spend a lot of time in Tammy's house, which is another reason Tammy thinks Amanda should pay up.

Tammy and Amanda's simmering fight finally erupted during 1000-lb Sisters season 6. During a Slaton family meeting about their weight-loss journeys, Amanda threw Tammy out of her house, and Tammy said that Amanda was forever dead to her. With the season still in full swing, it remains to be seen how Tammy and Amanda forgive each other and move past the fight.
