Now that they've both lost so much weight, they've been yearning to flex their independence. Read on for signs that the 1000-lb Sisters season 7 stars may not be a package deal much longer.

6 Amy Has A New Boyfriend

She May Be Expanding Her Family Soon

Amy met her new boyfriend, Bryan Scott Lovvorn, in the mosh pit at a concert, and they've been inseparable ever since. Though Amy seems happy with Bryan, her family is worried that she's moving too quickly. Amy has had bad luck with men, so it's not surprising that her family worries. They think Amy is impetuous when it comes to men, and they accuse her of rushing things. Since her divorce, Amy has dated multiple men, and it always ended in tears. It also doesn't help that Bryan is 50 years old, which is considerably older than 37-year-old Amy.

It Could Be A Problem For The Show

The Slatons are a very close-knit family, and their unique family dynamic is one of the best things about the show. They're On Very Different Paths

1 Tammy No Longer Needs Constant Help From Amy

But She's Not Ready To Be On Her Own Completely

After losing 500 pounds, Tammy no longer needs help with basic daily chores like bathing and cleaning her house. It's understandable why Tammy wants to flex her independence, but she's not completely ready to be on her own. The biggest thing holding Tammy back is her refusal to learn to drive. Before losing weight, Tammy couldn't even fit in a regular car seat, let alone the driver's seat, so she never learned to drive. She had to be driven around in a specialty van with the middle seat ripped out so she could sit on the floor.

Tammy will never be truly independent until she can drive herself around.

Now that Tammy can easily fit into the driver's seat of any car, she still refuses to learn to drive. These days, the burden of driving Tammy around falls mostly on her brother, 1000-Lb Sisters' Chris Combs. He has repeatedly tried to teach Tammy how to drive, but the 1000-lb Sisters star continues to refuse to learn. Tammy will never be truly independent until she can drive herself around.
