Throughout 1000-Lb Sisters season 7, Amy's made calls that don't always seem wrong, but don't seem to be getting her to any better a place, either.

With Amy focused on her sons, Gage and Glenn, and rebuilding her life after her divorce from Michael, it's become obvious that there's something going on off-screen that's keeping her a bit more pre-occupied than adjusting to life as a single mother. Amy's arrest in September 2024, wherein she was charged for drug possession and child endangerment at a drive-thru safari zoo, should've shifted her priorities, but it appears to have pushed her to double down on living the way she wants to. Knowing that there's been a lot of reckless behavior in Amy's past, her safety is a concern.

Amy’s Struggling On 1000-Lb Sisters

She's Trying To Move Ahead Without Acknowledging The Past

While Amy has been trying to celebrate all of her successes, the struggles that viewers saw her grappling with throughout 1000-Lb Sisters season 6 have only manifested into bigger issues. Though she's been able to build a happy relationship with Brian thus far, it's clear that Amy has yet to actually address the issues that led to her divorce from Michael, as well as the depressive episode that had her family intervening last season. While ending her marriage to Michael did help resolve the pressure and difficulty between them, Amy hasn't dealt with the issues in her life head on.
