Amanda immediately jumped back into the dating pool, and before long, she met RJ. During 1000-lb Sisters season 6, Amanda announced she'd be moving from Kentucky to Florida to be with him. The couple seemed solid when Amanda posted a now-deleted photo of her and her then-boyfriend on TikTok during a happier time in their relationship. The image is of RJ and Amanda on the beach. Her happiness would be short-lived.

Amanda seemed happy with RJ, but, in June 2024, Amanda posted a TikTok about how RJ had ghosted her. According to Amanda's TikTok, her boyfriend left town to visit family and never returned. When she tried ing him, he ignored her. The man she moved to Florida to be with had disappeared in the most disrespectful manner possible. With her heart broken, Amanda packed up her things and returned to her family in Kentucky.
