one of the most important JRPGs to exist. Not only was the remake heavily praised for its return to form gameplay and new 3D open world, but the game also builds on the foundation left behind from the original. Players take control of a ragtag group as they work together to stop the Benevodons from taking control of the world. Players can level up and switch their class, unlocking new abilities at the player's disposal. Amongst these new abilities are hidden abilities within each character and this guide will help players unlock them all.
Each character has their own class they can level up to become. For example, Duran, the young swordsman from the Kingdom of Valsena, can level up to become a Divine Hero regardless of starting as a Warrior. Players can level up their characters by participating in battles and finding experience points. Although, certain abilities are hidden behind quests and missions for the player to complete. The majority of these require that the player step away from the story path and explore the world around them. Here are all the hidden abilities in Trials of Mana and how players can unlock them.

While hidden abilities are not required, they help plenty during combat. Trials of Mana brings players back to a time where JRPGs were much similar. While the series isn't nearly as iconic as either Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy, its audience anticipates new titles in the Mana series. The remake did an excellent job of bringing a classic to modern audiences. The future of the series is currently uncertain, but hopefully, the remake will spark interest in developing a new entry.
Trials of Mana is available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
