Goldeneye was the first Bond movie I saw in its entirety. I went to work one morning and we were all sent home due to a burglary the night before. I deposited my paycheck and wondered what to do on my unexpected day off. Down the street from my bank was a second-run theater. I'd seen bits and pieces of Bond movies when they were on TV but never one start to finish. I'd enjoyed Remington Steele and figured, sure, the movie was probably worth a couple bucks. Pierce Brosnan became my favorite 007 until Daniel Craig came along.
