I'd like to see the franchise go back to more smart sci Fi and less chase scenes and action. Sarah Connor chronicles delivered a lot of depth to the war and touched on great sci Fi themes and time travel scenarios. But I know there's no one left in Hollywood that can write good sci Fi. Just look at star trek and star wars.
