Cast, Story, & Release Date
Though they aren't shown in the set photos, the sequel will introduce some new characters for Hutch to take on. The Oscar-nominated Sharon Stone (Casino) has been cast as the new primary villain, though details about her character remain undisclosed. Colin Hanks, the son of Tom Hanks, is also set to serve as a secondary antagonist, who is a corrupt and ambitious sheriff. Connie Nielsen will return as Hutch's wife Becca, alongside Christopher Lloyd as Hutch's father and a retired FBI agent, David Mansell.

Nobody 2 Villain Actor Teases The Franchise's Own Version Of John Wick's High Table
Nobody 2 officially announced who will be playing its main villain, which hints at the sequel introducing its own version of John Wick's High Table.
Nobody's post-credits scene shows David and Hutch's brother Harry (RZA) with guns in their family caravan, likely heading across the border, suggesting they will play important roles in the sequel. This is in line with what Nielsen has teased about the sequel, saying it should focus more on family struggles. Overall, Hutch's backstory should continue to have a devastating impact on his seemingly perfect family life.
Nobody 2 was initially announced in 2021, though the project faced several delays due to the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the eventual dual WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. After a slow start, the sequel has been filming for nearly a month now and is on the fast track and scheduled to hit theaters on August 15, 2025, four years after the original movie debut and the announcement of the sequel.
