Zorba is an annoying boss in Metaphor: ReFantazio. This is because Zorba is a necromancer and relies on that ability throughout his entire fight. The issue is that his undead army seems easy but can quickly overwhelm any players who are not prepared. Every time you beat his corpses, he'll raise more; while you're fighting corpses, he deals strong attacks. It seems like it cannot be beaten unless you're at a far higher level than him, but it's easier than it looks.

This may seem silly, but his tactics make him very simple to deal with if you know how to fight him. The best way to beat Zorba is to use his strategy against him. With the right team, plan, and preparations, you can make the fight one-sided in your favor. It's also done with the Archetypes you should already have in your party by the time you reach Zorba for his boss battle.

The best party combo for defeating Zorba in Metaphor: ReFantazio prioritizes damage output, healing, and control over the relentless Corpsethralls. A warrior equipped with Fire magic deals a lot of damage to both Zorba and his undead minions, making them a crucial asset. Pairing the warrior with a knight unlocks the powerful Jump Thrust synthesis move, which inflicts heavy damage on Zorba and lowers his defense, making him even more vulnerable.

The knight's Proclamation ability is also essential, drawing aggro from the Corpsethralls and protecting the party's more fragile . A healer completes the trio, offering vital healing and . While providing is mainly the healer's job, it's a good idea to let the healer attack whenever there's a good opportunity. The healer's Hama spells can target the Corpsethralls and Zorba, which deals significant Light magic damage. Beat The Boss

Zorba is tough to beat in Metaphor: ReFantazio because his tactics feel slightly overused and unfair. He essentially just summons a constant stream of Corpsethralls to overwhelm you. If you're unprepared, you will lose the battle more often than necessary. You must focus on efficiently eliminating these corpses and strategically managing your turns to beat him. The key comes from the three-archetype team: Warrior, Healer, and Knight.

The knight is your MVP; you'll want to use Jump Thrust every chance you get to damage Zorba. This move not only hurts him but it lowers his defense. This is great because then the warrior comes in. The warrior needs to use Slash moves because they're great to damage both Zorba and his undead minions. Finally, the Healer provides essential if needed but can also deal light damage for maximum effectiveness.

Your strategy should revolve around maintaining a constant offensive against the Corpsethralls, similar to the strategy in rohver's video. Prioritize eliminating them before they overwhelm you. Maximize damage output using Fire and Light magic, as the corpses are weak to these elements. Once you have two turn icons remaining, use Jump Thrust on Zorba to weaken him further. Don't worry about how much the enemy will focus on your knight. The knight's Proclamation ability will absorb damage from the Corpsethralls. However, you've got a healer there for a good reason, use them.

to prioritize healing over damage when necessary. You do not want to lose a single character of this playable trio. The Corpsethralls have a chance to inflict Rage on Zorba's undead. Just keep repeating the strategy above, and you'll beat Zorba in no time. This is because while making Corpsethralls is his strength, it's also his biggest weakness. Essentially, by keeping Zorba perpetually occupied with summoning new minions, you will deplete his resources and eventually defeat him in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
