Genshin Impact’s Fischl as she receives a mysterious letter concerning details of her past. With Mona, Kazuha, and Xinyan along for the ride, the Traveler embarks on a journey to the summer islands once more. “Summertime Odyssey” will be active until the end of Version 2.8, August 24, 2022.
In order to participate in “Summertime Odyssey” in Genshin Impact, players must first be Adventure Rank 32 or higher. Players must also complete the Archon Quest “Chapter II: Prologue - Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves” and Mona’s Story Quest “Astrolabos Chapter: Act I - Beyond This World’s Stars”. Players also have the option to proceed without completing Mona’s Story Quest by clicking “Quick Start” on the event menu.
“Summertime Odyssey” includes the events: Surfpiercer, Phantom Realm: Misty Hills, Foggy Vales, Phantom Realm: The Islands’ Stirring Strings, Phantom Realm: Immernachtreich Keep, and Phantom Realm: Temple of the Star Latitudes. All of these events take place within Genshin Impact’s Golden Apple Archipelago, which will be leaving at the end of Version 2.8.
Genshin Impact: Surfpiercer Waverider Event Rewards
“Surfpiercer” requires players to use the Waverider to race through obstacle courses. Players will need to sail through breakable objects, collect orbs of Piercer’s Drive, and activate powerful Surfpiercer’s Surges. This event began July 15, 2022, and it will be active until the end of Genshin Impact Version 2.8.
There are six total challenges for “Surfpiercer.” Each challenge will have its own requirements, such as completing the challenge within a set timeframe and destroying a certain number of obstacles. By meeting the requirements for each challenge, players will be able to earn: 180 Primogems, 24 Hero’s Wit, 24 Mystic Enhancement Ores, and 360,000 Mora.
Genshin Impact: Phantom Realms – Misty Hills, Foggy Vales Rewards
“Phantom Realms: Misty Hills, Foggy Vales” is the Event Domain for Genshin Impact’s Kazuha. To unlock this section of the event, you must complete “Summertime Odyssey: II” which follows Kazuha’s past in three parts. After completing this, players will unlock the Phantom Realm Domain.
“Initial Exploration” must be completed before “Direct Strike.” Both stages will reward players with Iridescent Flotsam that can be used in the event shop. Additionally, there are four requirements that must be met in order to obtain all rewards from the Domain. By meeting the requirements for “Misty Hills, Foggy Vales,” players will be able to earn: 60 Primogems, 4 Hero’s Wit, 8 Mystic Enhancement Ores, and 80,000 Mora.
Genshin Impact: Phantom Realms – The Islands’ Stirring Strings Rewards
Genshin Impact’s Pyro- Xinyan leads players into her past with “Phantasmal Tales: Blazin’ Trails.” To unlock this section of the event, players must complete “Summertime Odyssey: III”. After completing the event quest, players will be able to unlock “Phantom Realms: The Islands’ Stirring Strings.”
“Initial Exploration” must be completed first. Afterward, players will be able to challenge “Direct Strike” and earn a set number of Iridescent Flotsam. Apart from the event currency, players will be able to earn a variety of materials. By completing the requirements for “The Islands’ Stirring Strings,” players will be able to earn: 60 Primogems, 4 Hero’s Wit, 8 Mystic Enhancement Ores, and 80,000 Mora.
Genshin Impact: Phantom Realms – Immernachtreich Keep Rewards
“Phantasmal Tales: Immernachtreich Apokalypse” is the event Domain for Fischl. This realm tells the story of Fischl’s past in three parts. Within this realm, players will be able to find a multitude of chests as well as a Phantasmal Conch in Genshin Impact. To unlock this section of the event, players must complete “Summertime Odyssey: IV”. After completing Fischl’s event quest, “Phantom Realms: Immernachtreich Keep” will be available.
Similar to the previous Phantom Realms, players must first complete “Initial Exploration” before challenging “Direct Strike.” This will help players collect the Iridescent Flotsam needed to invite Fischl to their party. By completing the requirements for “Immernachtreich Keep,” players will be able to earn: 60 Primogems, 4 Hero’s Wit, 8 Mystic Enhancement Ores, and 80,000 Mora.
Genshin Impact: Phantom Realms – Temple of the Star Latitudes Rewards
Genshin Impact’s Mona reveals her connection with the stars in “Phantasmal Tales: The Ancient Azure Stars.” To unlock this section of the event, players must complete “Summertime Odyssey: V”. Mona’s story is told in one realm, though it has many hidden rooms and puzzles to decipher. After completing Mona’s event story, players will be able to access the Event Domain, “Phantom Realms: Temple of the Star Latitudes.”
After completing “Initial Exploration,” players will be able to attempt the second phase, “Direct Strike.” Completing these challenges will award players the last Iridescent Flotsam they need in order to invite Fischl to their team in Genshin Impact. Additionally, after completing the four requirements for “Temple of the Star Latitudes,” players will be able to earn: 60 Primogems, 4 Hero’s Wit, 8 Mystic Enhancement Ores, and 80,000 Mora.
Genshin Impact: Summertime Odyssey Event Shop Rewards and Fischl Invite
After completing all of “Summertime Odyssey” events, players will be able to invite Fischl and obtain all the rewards from the Event Shop. Additionally, players will be able to earn Fischl’s new skin in Genshin Impact by obtaining at least 16 Phantasmal Conches and trading them in the “Resonating Visions” section of the event menu. These Conches can be found scattered across the Golden Apple Archipelago.
To invite Fischl, players will need 2,400 Iridescent Flotsam. This can be obtained by completing all Phantom Realms at least three times each. After obtaining the correct amount, players can invite Fischl with “An Imperial Invitation” on the event menu. The Iridescent Flotsam required will not detract from the player’s total. With the remaining Iridescent Flotsam, players will be able to purchase all items in the Event Shop. As this is a limited-time event, players should try to obtain all resources available within the timeframe.
After buying out the Event Shop, players will receive one Crown of Insight, 6 Agnidus Agate Fragments, 6 Varunada Lazurite Fragments, 6 Vajrada Amethyst Fragments, 6 Vayuda Turquoise Fragments, 6 Shivada Jade Fragments, and 6 Prithiva Topaz Fragments. Additionally, players will earn 6 Guide to Freedom, 2 Philosophies of Freedom, 6 Guide to Resistance, 2 Philosophies of Resistance, 6 Guide to Ballad, 2 Philosophies of Ballad, and 700,00 Mora. Genshin Impact’s “Summertime Odyssey” event will be active until the end of Version 2.8 on August 24, 2022.
