It's been 15 years since Lost ended, and for those still feeling the itch for a show like it, here are a few options. Lost ran for six seasons after premiering in September 2004, and there have been few, if any, shows like it since. While some shows have approached that "water-cooler" level where it seems like every week, just about everyone has seen the latest episode and can't wait to discuss, Lost was a different beast. Particularly those first few seasons gripped the pop culture conversation like almost nothing before or after.

While not every TV show’s first episode will be the one that makes you invest in it, these titles have perfect pilots that will hook you from the start. There are several perfect TV show pilot episodes in existence, and typically, these shows are massive successes because of them. However, some TV shows go downhill after an amazing pilot, and so audiences are less inclined to keep following the story.

The S.W.A.T. series finale wrapped up a lot of storylines, but left others slightly open for a potential future. Knowing how decisions had been made in the past, crafting a S.W.A.T. season 8 finale that could work as a series finale was the right thing to do, but it was clear everyone wanted to do more. Returning to lead the Doctor Who season 15 cast, Gatwa's second run as the Doctor has largely continued the trend of introducing fresh antagonists. That said, the return of Gabriel Woolf as Sutekh at the end of Doctor Who season 14 proves that returning showrunner Russell T. Davies isn't against bringing classic villains back into the fold.

As a longtime Smallville fan, I’ll be the first to praise the show’s incredible run, but there are some episodes that are just far too difficult to watch. Smallville dared to reimagine DC’s Superman’s origin through a teen drama lens. Though mostly compelling, some episodes suffered from bizarre tonal shifts or baffling writing decisions that completely derailed character development or plots. Whether it’s filler, cringe, or missed opportunity, these are the rough spots in an otherwise super legacy.

Andor is finally over, and, upon rewatching Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, I cannot get over how different so many scenes from the latter now are. Since the ending of Andor season 2, many have decided to revisit Rogue One now that heaps of additional context has been provided. Be it the additional information about how Star Wars' Rebel Alliance was founded or the development of Cassian Andor as a character, Andor changes a lot about how I watched Rogue One, turning the latter into almost an entirely different movie than it was.

Friends has many fun episodes that make the show worth rewatching many times, but as much as I love the show, there are some episodes that are difficult to get through for different reasons. Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, Friends premiered on NBC in 1994, and its success allowed it to stick around for a total of 10 seasons, ending in 2004. Friends is now regarded as one of the best TV shows of all time, its finale also ranks among the best, and it made TV history for different behind-the-scenes reasons.
