However, the episode did manage to wrap most of the arcs up for the main characters, with Sheryll Barnes (Roxy Sternberg) getting the promotion she has long deserved. As much as I expected her to get the promotion, I’m still conflicted by how the FBI: Most Wanted season 6 finale ended.

Ironheartwill officially introduce the MCU's Iron Man replacement after her brief 2022 role, though with an unexpected story that may actually benefit Robert Downey Jr.'s return as Doctor Doom. The story of Ironheart will be released on Disney+ in June 2025, continuing the story of Riri Williams coming into her own as an MCU hero after spending some time in Wakanda during Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In May 2025, Marvel Studios released the first trailer for Ironheart, hinting at many aspects of the show.

One year after their first on-screen fight, Asajj Ventresswill yet again be facing off against a beloved group ofcharacters in a new Star Warsstory. It was in 2024 that the iconic villain known for her role in Star Wars: The Clone Wars returned to the small screen in Star Wars: The Bad Batchseason 3, revealing that Ventress had survived her supposed death in the 2015 canon novel Dark Disciple by Christie Golden.

Scotty (James Doohan) was treated better on Star Trek: The Next Generationthan any other Star Trek: The Original Series guest star. Captain Montgomery Scott appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation season 6, episode 4, "Relics," after having survived for 75 years in a transporter pattern buffer. Scotty was rescued by Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and the crew of the USS Enterprise-D, and the former Chief Engineer spent time aboard Picard's Galaxy Class starship.
