Despite the growing delays in its production with each subsequent season, Stranger Things remains one of Netflix's most valuable IPs. The show has been around for almost a decade and is all set to conclude its narrative on a high note with a fifth installment. The man writes dozens of television episodes annually, and he doesn't even have a writer's room to back him.

Star Trek: Strange New Worldswill return this summer for a third season, and the series has already revealed how the crew of the Enterprise can survive their battle with the Gorn. The season 2 finale ended on a massive cliffhanger, with Captain Pike struggling with what orders to give his crew when they are outmatched by a Gorn ship. Several civilians and Starfleet officers remain trapped on the planet's surface with seemingly no hope of rescue.
