Reacher's Neagley spin-off has finally confirmed one major character's return from the parent series. As many readers of the original Jack Reacher book series would know, Lee Child never wrote any novel focusing primarily on Neagley. Reacherstar Alan Ritchson has teased his return in a series of behind-the-scenes photos from season 4 and the new Neagley spinoff series. Officially renewed for season 4 before Reacher season 3’s 2025 release, there is no official confirmation which Jack Reacher book will form the basis of the show’s next season. However, original author Lee Child has already expressed his interest in seeing 2017’s The Midnight Line adapted. Meanwhile, Maria Sten’s s Neagley is also set to lead her own spinoff show, with filming officially getting underway in February this year.

The Neagley spin-off will reveal many key details about Maria Sten's character, but it must also explore one unresolved aspect of her story from Reacher. When it comes to staying true to the source material, Prime Video's Reacher has done a commendable job. Like most live-action adaptations, it has taken a fair share of creative liberties with each season. However, the show has never failed to capture the essence of Lee Child's original Jack Reacher books.
